Luxury Portrait Sessions with Service & Heart

If you want a photographer that will put her heart into creating your images, look no further than Harper Young Photography. Your portrait session is not just another workday to me. I’m capturing artwork to celebrate a special moment in your life. As an artist, I am passionate about creating beautiful, professional photographs that you will love and cherish forever. I put the effort in to not only make the images look great, but also to make my clients feel great. I focus on providing a wonderful service because I care about making sure my clients feel comfortable and taken care of.

Here is a rundown of the service my clients can expect at a portrait session. Upon arrival to my Baxter Avenue studio, I am happy to greet you outside and take you up the freight elevator if desired. There is a seating area in my studio furnished with comfortable couches and chairs. Bottled water and packaged snacks are available. For maternity and motherhood sessions, I provide a client closet filled with a variety of gorgeous designer gowns and luxurious fabrics as well as accessories to compliment the look. For all other sessions, I am happy to offer suggestions and help select which outfits will look best. When needed, I allow time to try on a few available wardrobe options before making final decisions, and I can assist with getting the gowns on and off. I always work within my clients’ comfort level because I respect everyone’s personal preferences. I walk my clients through every pose and give direction on facial expressions, while also capturing some more natural, candid moments as well. I pay attention to easily overlooked details too - coming in between poses to fix hair and adjust fabrics to look just right. I care about every detail as much as you do, and I put in the thought and effort to make sure everyone looks and feels their best. I do not rush the experience, but I will work within any timelines noted.

And that is all just the day-of service I provide. I also put a lot of work into planning and preparing before the session as well as retouching and completing artwork after the session. I’m here to provide a wonderful experience for you - every step of the way.
